Profile: After graduating from the PSM program in spring 2008, I secured a position with the Yakama Nation as a Wildlife Biologist.  I was hired to assist with survey fieldwork in meadow habitats on the Yakama Reservation.  Previous employment as a vegetation technician along with a background in wildlife assisted in securing the position; however, the deciding factor was my internship experience with the Forest Service in stream restoration and advanced coursework in wetlands and riparian ecology.  The PSM program was an opportunity to further my education in science while gaining valuable skills in business management, communication, and ethics that will only pave the way for future employment.  If you have any questions regarding my personal experience in the PSM program, please feel free to contact me at kellym.clayton@gmail.com.
