Kimberly Gryzb

PSM Program: Applied Biotechnology
Graduation Date: 2005
Profile: Through OSU’s Professional Master’s program in Applied Biotechnology, I obtained an MS in Molecular and Cellular Biology. My internship at the Center for Genome Research and Biocomputing (CGRB) on the OSU campus involved learning to perform the services offered there, such as DNA sequencing, genotyping, and designing custom microarrays. Additionally, I designed, conducted, and analyzed results of a survey which allowed the center to gain insight into the level of satisfaction of its customers. The science, business and communication exposure I received during my PSM experience enabled me to find a wonderful job at the DNA EpiCenter (www.dnaepicenter.org) as a Staff Scientist where I am involved in all aspects of a non-profit including marketing, science curriculum development, and grant writing.
