Registration

Selecting Classes: The OSU online catalog describes courses, credit hours, schedules, and locations on campus for individual courses, enabling you to develop an initial plan of study. If you have questions about a specific course, please communicate directly with the instructor or departmental contact listed. You should schedule an appointment with your major professor or PSM advisor to select classes for your first term of study.

Registering: Registration can be completed online during enrollment periods as listed in the Academic Calendar. Please contact the Registrar’s Office (541) 737-4331 with questions related to registration.

Announcements regarding specific times and location for the PSM 507 course each term will be sent to you by e-mail. Please send your current contact details, including phone number, mail and e-mail addresses, to Dr. Bechert.

Full-time Registration: The full-time course load for a graduate student, including course work and internship credits, ranges from 9-16 credits per term. All Graduate Assistants (e.g., Research or Teaching Assistants) must enroll for a minimum of 12 credits each term of the academic year and a minimum of 9 credits during summer.

International Student Registration: A minimum of 9 credits per term is required of most international students to satisfy visa requirements. For specific details, international students should contact the Office of International Education.

Special Registration Requirements: Other minimum term credit requirements may be necessary to qualify for Veteran's benefits, fellowships or scholarships.
