Becky Hill

Profile: My undergraduate education and research emphasis has been in Aquatic Ecology and Zoology, specifically relating to amphibians. I am looking forward to incorporating these aspects of my past education with my current educational goals in the Professional Science Master's degree program. In the PSM program, I will be taking courses that will allow me to expand my knowledge of aquatic/riparian ecosystems, habitat analysis and application, and statistical analysis as well as gain an understanding of technical report writing, business communications and etiquette, land use policy, and consulting skills to both science professionals and the general public. When I complete the PSM program, I intend to work for a private environmental engineering and consulting firm in the Pacific Northwest as an Aquatic Ecologist Consultant. The Professional Science Masters is the perfect degree program for me to gain more science based education in my field of study as well as prepare me for the business/consulting world.
