Chris Cheng

Profile: Upon completing my undergraduate education I spent a year working at a plant biotechnology firm to gain a better understanding of research in the private sector. I enrolled in the Applied Biotechnology program to develop professional skills and better laboratory proficiency for a successful career in research. My career goal is to devote my skills and efforts to biomedical research in the area of regenerative medicine, a rapidly growing field with profound implications for human health and lifespan. After completing the PSM program I hope to continue my graduate studies in a PhD program or find a research position at a biotechnology firm specializing in regenerative medicine.
